Martello Tower 64

Today stands just above the high tide mark, and was said to be in no danger from the sea in 1873. Although safe for the time being, due to various attempts to shore up the beach, the tide is fast eroding the shingle in front of the tower. In 1910 the tower was about 100 yards from the sea.
